Ethan started making records at New Alliance in 1999. In 2004, after former Head Engineer Andrew Schneider left to pursue his own recording career in New York, Ethan took over the role as head engineer and lead the studio forward, making records that would inspire a whole new wave of engineers that New Alliance and other studios in the Boston area employ today.
In 2006, when New Alliance was forced from its famous Fenway location, Ethan was instrumental in pushing for the new build out we currently enjoy in Central Square Cambridge.
In October 2011 Ethan stepped down from his role as Head Engineer to pursue his own personal Interests. We are very fortunate to still have Ethan as a frequent engineer at New Alliance.
